Yesterday, 2nd August, marked a remarkable milestone in the political journey toward the 2027 governorship election in Ogun State, as taxi drivers from across Ogun Central converged at the Ake Centenary Hall for a historic inauguration and declaration of support for the governorship aspiration of Solomon Olamilekan Adeola (YAYI).
The atmosphere was filled with excitement, unity, and hope as hundreds of taxi drivers openly pledged their unwavering loyalty and commitment to ensuring Senator YAYI emerges victorious as the next Governor of Ogun State in the 2027 election.
Many of the drivers testified that the dedication, humility, and people-oriented approach of the YAYI Political Soldiers convinced them to join the movement. They particularly appreciated the efforts made to assist taxi drivers who did not have Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs), guiding and supporting them through the voter registration process.
